The early stages of the process were decent — I completed a Python test and had a good conversation with a senior dev. But the final round with the CTO was ridiculous. From the start, his camera angle was weird — it felt like I was watching him from the side, as if the call was running on a second monitor or even a phone placed off to the side. He never looked at the screen, just kept typing and staring elsewhere the entire time. I was basically talking to air. No acknowledgement, no feedback, not even basic human interaction. It wasn’t just unprofessional — it was outright disrespectful. If that’s how they treat candidates, I can’t imagine what working there would feel like.

It was an online interview on Google Meet. I got to meet the team members, and could ask about anything in the company, from the work process to the benefits. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
