Intern - embedded software engineering Interview

      18 Sept 2020
      Anonymous employee
      Piteşti
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Continental (Piteşti) in Apr 2018

      Interview

The company had a colab with our university. There was no pre-interview stage, basically all the students who were interested in this internship would just apply for the job and they would be called later for an interview involving their english speaking and understanding abilities. This interview was pretty much formal in my opinion, as the participants in the next interview were most students (if not all) who applied for the job. Later, they would be appointed a meeting for the next interview at our university, to not waste our time searching for the company and for our confort, which is a plus in my opinion. The interview was easy and the interviewers were really friendly. They insisted in having a relaxed atmosphere and the interview proceeded more like a chat than an interview.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

      1. How to return 2 variables? 2. Describe a sorting algorithm. 3. What role do you want at our company? 4. Why you like software development? 5. What do you know about us? 6. How do you repeat an instruction other than using a for loop? 7. Describe how do you write a switch case statement. They asked more but I don't remember the other questions which were all the same easy.
