Four interviews with excellent reviews. Including a technical challenge, an interview with the director of operations, the development team and the head of people. I was initially told that the process would be short and that my salary expectations were correct, but I was interviewed four times and in the final interview I was told that my salary expectations could be an issue and I waited two weeks for a response. They briefly told me that my profile was not selected. They didn't give me any feedback so I asked and they scheduled a five minute phone call. In the feedback they mention that the main part of the decision was because my salary expectations. My conclusion: talking to the development team, I guess the company is betting on hiring junior developers and that they get more seniority. But they could be clearer on salary expectations for the job position.
