It was a rather smooth process. Everyone was transparent and to the point of what is to be expected! The role is not for everyone so you've got to love the hunt
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CrossBorder Solutions (New York, NY) in Jun 2021
Interview
Prior to my interview, I was vetted by a firm called, Pareto. CrossBorder utilizes Pareto to pre-qualify candidates for all roles before offering them an interview. After being pre-qualified, I was scheduled for an interview, which took place about a week later. There were some pretty intense questions during the interview. After the interview, you are told whether or not you are selected to move on the what is known as "Assessment Day." That's where the magic happens. That's where you have to prove yourself. Prior to "Assessment Day," you will be working with an advisor from Pareto to assist you with preparing. "Assessment Day" is literally all day. It begins at around 8:00AM and ends at around 4:00PM. Depending on your performance (you are competing with others), you will be given a call to let you know if you will be extended an offer or not. It is a pretty rigourous - yet well organize process, and you will get feedback from day one of your interviews and beyond.

3) Explain a time when you had to step up and take on a leadership role.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CrossBorder Solutions (Saint Pete, FL) in Jun 2021
Interview
Very thorough. Several qualifying phone calls with both CrossBorder's team as well as the recruiting firm they used, Pareto Law, before an "Assessment Day" that was 8:30am - 4:00 pm (although realistically I was finished by ~2pm). The Assessment Day was virtual and consisted of several team activities, an elevator pitch, etc; while this was lengthy and sounds tedious, I was very thoroughly prepared by the recruiters and previous phone-interviews as to what I should expect, what I should prepare, etc. Overall, it was a more tedious process than I was used to, but was happy with it and thankful they were so thorough as my previous employer- it made me feel they truly interested, truly were willing to invest in the employees they did choose, and that if I did receive an offer (which I did) that I was truly qualified for the job and would be successful in it.
