A Crusoe recruiter reached out to me, said they liked my LinkedIn work history, wanted to know if I was interested in interviewing for a job. I said, "Sure." Radio silence ensued. A month later, a second recruiter reached out to schedule a first-round screening interview. An hour before that interview, they canceled and asked to reschedule. I said, "Sure." Screening call was positive. A third recruiter reached out to schedule the second interview / "department screen" with the hiring manager. The scheduling calendar didn't work the first time because the hiring manager showed no time available. Try again now, they asked. I said, "Sure." I logged into the second interview Google Meet at the scheduled time, and I was the only one there. I waited 10 minutes, left the call and emailed Recruiter #3 with a note on what happened. I received an email back five minutes later asking me to rejoin the call, the interview will start now. When I didn't join, I received a reschedule appointment five minutes later. No apology. I sent a brief (but polite) mail that I was withdrawing from the process. Didn't receive any acknowledgment. The general lack of consideration for interviewees' time and calendars suggests a lot about the internal culture.
