Had a recruiter from Crusoe call me on a Wednesday afternoon. No email prior and asked if I had time. I was at work so I scheduled it for the next day. He asked me a few questions- tell me about yourself, have you managed food and beverage programs and have you been apart of a large office buildout. He also asked how soon I could start, as they needed the role filled "like yesterday". He then told me that I had great experience and that I should be be hearing back within 24-48 hours. After the call which lasted about 15 minutes, I felt great! Thinking I would forsure be moving on to the next round. I ended up not hearing back for 7 business days. I had to reach out twice once after the 48 hours had passed and again after it had been a full week. The recruiter texted me when reaching out initially, so I texted him while reaching out as I never got his email. He never responded and then 24 hours after reaching out the 2nd time, I got the automated rejection email. Bummer. I felt very confused since the call went so well and the recruiter sounded like he needed the role filled urgently. 1 month later, the listing is still up.
