Delinea Senior Software Engineer interview questions

First the Director called me to see if the skills match the requirements. Then I was scheduled to have a technical discussion with the manager. It was a screen sharing session. HE asked me to write a javascript function that would change the background color of a div to yellow and set rounded -corners. I DON'T KNOW THE SYNTAX FOR SETTING ROUNDED-CORNERS. He then asked me to write 2 CS functions. assuming there is a distributed cache layer. Add a widget to DB and get a widget back. I think I did pretty ok. Within 30 minutes I got a rejection email. TESTING FOR SYNTAX SKILLS FOR AN EXPEREINCED DEVELOPER, IS THE MOST STUPID WAY TO INTERVIEW IN MY OPINION.
