Just as almost perfectly described above. The actual application process is straight forward and simple. Click. Click. Upload your resume and... BAM! Done. End of story. Okay, well not really.I received an email from Delta a few days after completing the application asking me to complete a video interview. Get excited!!! No, not quite. Download the HireVue app on your device, and get ready for four (4) questions about your greatest triumphs and failures, utilizing the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result). Make sure to take the practice interview ensure yourself the optimal lighting, quietest background, and best sound quality for your video. Fast forward!! About a month later to the day, I received word from Delta that they'd like to have an in-person interview, which is in a few hours. Say a prayer for me, God bless :)
A few (more) words:
!. Delta's hiring process can be quite lengthy so if you're waiting to put in your two weeks at your present job, you may want to wait before pulling the trigger.
2. Practice makes for a smooth interview. A lot of your nerves can be calmed with repetitions on the practice interview on the HireVue app.
3. Do a simple google search for reviews and forum posts of the position you're applying for. You will learn a lot of information that's not detailed on the Delta careers page. e.g. the airlliners.net aviation forum and the reviews on this website, of course. Flights benefits, Healthcare, Financial matters, the bulk of this pertinent information can be found through your search.
