      Support Coordinator Interview

      30 Jan 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines

      Interview

Shortly after submitting an application, I received an email from a recruiter asking for my interview availability. I responded to this email with my top 3 preferences and received a response almost immediately granting my first selection. Later that day, I received an additional email asking what my compensation expectations were and notifying me that my interview appointment had been changed (to a different time I had not listed as available). I followed up to this email asking for the average range of compensation for this position and noted that I would not be available at this new time. I then received a response email stating that I may keep my original scheduled interview time, offering no further details about compensation. On the day of the actual interview, there were two different sessions scheduled back to back, which I felt to be an efficient practice. Everyone I spoke to was cordial and I had a particularly amicable conversation with one of the interviewers while waiting to begin the actual interview. Unfortunately, no one I spoke with was actually located at the base that I was interviewing for, so they were unable to answer any of my specific job-function related questions, as these conditions very per base. Additionally, I received the impression that one of my interviewers felt I was underqualified for the position I had applied to and the sessions were quite brief. At the time of this review, it has been over one month since my interview(s) and I have not heard back about this position, so I am assuming I have not been selected. Regrettably, I did not quite feel like my time or effort was valued, nor did I feel respected as a candidate/potential employee.
