Interview takes about a month after passing a set of tests online. Once passed you take a video interview and are asked 5 STARS format questions. Final part, you get an offer however, it was for a position I didn't apply for and significantly less pay. I applied for the line mechanic and after passing all the interviews they finally called to tell me I was to be a support mechanic starting at $21 for 6 months with possible full time. I already have an a&p license and 4 years experience. I declined the offer and told them on the phone I applied for the amt position but couldn't take a pay drop to $21. I was told during the video interview I would start at $23 when asked about starting pay. Delta's new hiring process is garbage compared to 4 years ago and now just hires expendable contractors while advertising the higher paid positions for what you are applying for. Not okay with the bate and switch approach Delta has adopted here, put in the job listing if we are automatically applying for all positions or something.
