I applied online. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) in Oct 2023
Interview
They chose 12 out of about 40 in my group. I will say my family and I are disgusted with their behavior at the end of the interview. They lied to us and the female flight attendant who stuck her head in the van and went out of her way to lie again and give us false hope. That is just downright wrong. There was absolutely no need for that. I have been a loyal customer to Delta and have been using them for all my business and personal trips for the past 6 years. The interactions I had with the flight attendants yesterday felt so artificial. They were far less genuine and it’s felt so fake and forced the way they were smiling and acting towards us. I guess when I’m not a customer they do not try as hard to be genuinely kind? I don’t know it felt so wrong. I’m glad I went. I studied hard for this interview for an airline that I have truly loved. However, when I saw they don’t even stand by their core values, number one being honesty… it said a lot about them and perhaps this is not the company for me.

Question 1
I will not be disclosing the details of this interview. They clearly asked us several times not to. However, I hope someone working for Delta Airlines sees this and takes notes about what honesty and integrity actually looks like.
I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.

It’s challenging, but rewarding, remember to answer in star format, and just enjoy the process, think about your why and smile! No matter if you have received a TBNT- don’t let that stop you from your dream…Keep climbing!
