I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) in Dec 2023
Interview
The reviews are all fact and the whole event is as phony as a three dollar bill. From the time they give you a label to go on the other side of your temp ID they know who they want. The turnover rate is high so if you want to keep applying do it and make use of what you can get out of them. This is a weird environment and they do not like anyone with a personality and don't say anything extra other than what you are asked and told to do. I seem to always get stuck with karen's and geraldine's interviewing me and when that happens I know I won't get it. Stay stone faced and smile as little as possible. Don't ask too many questions and if you know you aren't getting it for sure after several interviews, just go for the heck of it, walk out and leave especially if you get stuck with an interviewer you are uncomfortable with. They need to get a message too and the person interviewing you matters. Never ever fly in the day prior, it's a waste of a hotel room. If you are selected for groups 1,2,3 you ARE NOT getting in even if you re-apply so you will have to create a new profile to sneak back in, but also if you are in groups 1,2,3 you are black listed permanently and insiders have mentioned this. Changing your e-mail is one way to avoid this. What I was told about the 1-3 crowd I won't even mention, it will start a feud. Group 4 you are on a maybe list for about a year and 5 you get it. When there are about 10 left they made it. Be careful talking to the recruiters while socializing, they are moles and look for people to cut. Being a soft spoken low key flamboyant man helps, but everyone else don't give the impression you're approachable because they don't want people with a personality. They want flight attendants like the one who was recently in the New York Post. Look her up. Delta's selection process is why Delta has the worst and rudest flight attendants in aviation, but this is what they want.
BTW, be as super passive and submissive as possible on the personality questionnaire. If you get past it you will instantly get the video questionnaire and when that is done you instantly get the invite to pick your fly day out to Atlanta. The personality assessment is what you need to get past to get to Atlanta. Everything is automated and no one reviews your video questions. They don't have the manpower to review 150,000 videos.
I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.
