My comments here will reflect my experience after the first digital interview..... my initial interview went alright, I thought I would not get any more opportunities to advance. No offer then. .
A month later, I received an invitation for the second interview online. That was more of a specific job position. After having been invited and doing the Digital Interview, I realized preparation is crucial. Make certain your computer is working well, with the video and audio perfect. The system allows you to go in and practice, and adjust your volume and your video before you actually do the interview.... even the day before.
The questions are fairly standard in many industries, so practice them to the point where you don't have to think about an answer, because you may be nervous with the computer screen.
Practice the questions with your computer or phone, practice making eye contact with the camera, or put photograph just above where that camera is so, you're focusing on a real person. That may help me next time.
After each question, stop, take a few breaths, and prepare some of your answers for the next question. You can do that. Take advantage of that!
Questions are always expected in a certain format. I think they are more interested in the facts, then whether or not you speak with flawless perfect grammar... Use STAR. Or Situation, Actions, Results. ...
I've I just received the opportunity to do the second similar interview, although specifically for the French speaking position, as before it was not for the language specific position.... I'm hoping to have gained a lot of experience after the first one, so that I really can nail this one. Best of luck to you all.
