I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Dentsu in Jun 2022
Interview
My initial interview with a recruiter when I applied online.
For me I think the big turn off was the recruiter questioning my background on my resume stating I did not have the enough experience to showcase my background.
That was very not professional when in reality you can't fit everything in a resume and that you add what you feel is valuable. Now the whole point of the interview is to speak experience and knowledge about the very job itself.
It was a waste of my time for her to just critique my resume and not even give me a chance to explain my paid search background in more context. I could of ask her a lot of technical questions about the job and she would have no idea how to answer me correctly.
Again, I'm not questioning her on the skills as a recruiter but that left a bad taste of the overall experience.
From reading other interviews here seems like they are still needing to fix a lot of their internal hiring processes since its not the best.
My experience was a negative.
Two hours split into three sections. First they did an introduction then everyone was split into two groups. One group would start with a simple numeracy test and then an interview with two Dentsu employees. Then there was the group project based on a marketing campaign.
