The recruiter was great. First interview with the hiring manager of the role he asked a lot of boilerplate questions about how I manage and deal with client situations. High level, stuff. Then interviewed 2 more times.
After seemingly 3 great interviews. I did not receive an offer. After asking for feedback I was told I didn't show much in depth knowledge in search only other areas like YouTube and Site tagging.
The problem with this is i was never asked any questions that would even remotely tap into my depth of Search knowledge. My interview questions primarily consisted of the type of clients I am accustomed to working with, how I manage client relationships, and team management ability. At no point was i given a challenging question to test my knowledge of Search
I feel they never had an interest in hiring me and my interview was checking a box for HR.
Dentsu is still the same as it has always been unfortunately. An extreme lack of diversity, especially at the top of the organization and within the executive team and and no accountability in leadership.
