I applied online. I interviewed at DigitalBuzz (Pune)
Interview
The interview process was lengthy and poorly managed. I was first given a very large take-home assignment involving multiple mini projects/tools, which took significant time to complete. After submission, there was no response for 1–2 weeks, and I had to follow up multiple times before an interview was scheduled.
The interview link was shared via WhatsApp rather than email. The technical interview lasted around 45–60 minutes and covered React, Next.js, scenario-based questions, project discussion, and HR-related questions. The discussion itself went smoothly and appeared to be the final round. An HR representative was present during the interview.
After the interview, there was no communication for nearly a month despite repeated follow-ups via WhatsApp and calls. Eventually, I was informed that my profile was not shortlisted, without any explanation or feedback. Further requests for feedback were ignored, despite assurances that details would be shared.
Overall, the process lacked transparency, timely communication, and professionalism. Candidates are expected to invest significant effort, but basic follow-up and respectful communication were missing.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked in-depth questions about React and Next.js concepts, scenario-based problem solving, and to explain my approach and decisions in the take-home assignment projects.
