My interview experience with the company had both positive and disappointing elements. On the positive side, the recruiter I worked with was excellent, they were extremely helpful, communicative, and transparent throughout the entire process. Their support made navigating the interviews much easier, and I genuinely appreciated their consistent updates and clarity.
However, the overall structure of the process was more demanding and prolonged than expected. I ultimately completed five rounds of interviews over the span of more than a month, which was significantly longer than the initial timeline provided. Additionally, I was required to prepare and deliver two separate presentations, which involved considerable time and effort.
What made the experience particularly disheartening was learning that, after all of this, I was not selected and that the offer ultimately went to a candidate with a referral. While I understand that referrals play a role in hiring, it was disappointing to invest so much time into such an extensive process only to realise that the decision may have been influenced by internal connections.
Overall, while the recruiter was outstanding, the length of the process and the outcome left me feeling that the effort required was not aligned with the transparency initially provided.
