The process was pretty typical up until the first in-person technical interview and an interview from my would-be boss. The recruiter was apparently not on the same page as all the interviewers as they asked me technical questions specific to technologies I wasn't familiar with. The manager I interviewed with didn't come off as a people person, and talked about hypothetical employees of the company in a matter I thought was disrespectful. The interview that was technically relevant to the job I was applying for went well.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Docusign (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2016
Interview
I was contacted by an internal DocuSign recruiter and he worked with me to see if I was a good match for the role. The interviewers focused their attention on the actual skills I would need to bring to the table for this position and avoided generic or abstract brain teasers commonly used by tech companies. This was refreshing and actually made the interview process fun.
