I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Dollar General
Interview
Came to the company through an agency. Very typical corporate interview: assessment, phone screen, virtual interview with hiring manager and next level management, face to face with peers, supervisor, hiring manager and next level management. Offer quickly followed. Overall great experience, face to face made me feel very comfortable with the identity and character of the company.

Question 1
Not really one that stood out... Questions surrounded multi-unit support, leading a team, pace of business, supporting multiple clients, conflicting priorities, managing a higher workload. Looking back, all of those were very applicable questions to the role.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Dollar General (Atlanta, GA) in Aug 2023
Interview
I applied online and was contacted same day. They initially seemed very interested given the email to setup a formal interview. I then responded with my availability for an interview and did not hear anything. I gave it a few days and then contacted the number provided. No response. This was very unprofessional as if the days/times did not work or an unexpected occurrence happened, this should have been properly communicated. I have many years' exp in HR and there will be times when you will need to be accommodating if you're seeking top-tier talent. Additionally, lack of communication is an absolute "No-No". This does not reflect well on the HR Department.

Interview
The interview process involves a generous amount of communication. The initial interview was via the phone. If the interviewer is interested then you will move on to the next round.
