The most disappointing part of this experience was not the rejection itself, but how the hiring process was handled. After investing significant time in interview and waiting weeks for an outcome, there was little to no meaningful communication regarding the status of my application. Candidates are expected to be responsive, prepared, and respectful of interview schedules. It is reasonable to expect the same level of professionalism in return. The prolonged silence created unnecessary uncertainty and gave the impression that candidates were being kept on hold while other options were explored. If hiring decisions are delayed, transparent communication should be the minimum standard. A rejection is understandable. A lack of respect for candidates’ time is not. Based on my experience, the recruitment process was poorly managed and left a negative impression of the company.
