A few days after the recruiter called me, I had an online interview with the hiring manager and was endorsed to have an interview with the owners. The two interviews were only done in a span of a week which I thought was a good thing thinking they have a fast process for hiring. That was the last time I heard from the recruiter. I kept calling and messaging her but haven't received any response. Then I contacted their head of talent after a week. She said that I was still being considered and they will have a decision by the following week. While waiting for their update, I got another offer from a different company but was leaning towards joining DysrupIT because I had great interview experience with the hiring manager and the owners. Another week had passed, I already declined the offer from another company since a week already had passed, contacted the head of talent but unfortunately she mentioned that there is still no final decision and mentioned that it may take another week to have it. She already know that I passed on the offer from another company. A few hours later, the recruiter, who I haven't heard a word for weeks, sent me a message informing me that I did not meet the qualifications for the "project". 1. The head of talent mentioned to me earlier that this is an internal role so I am not sure what project the recruiter was referring to. 2. Since they already knew that I did not meet the qualifications, why did it take them so long to provide an update?
