Interview

The interview process went well with 2 in person interviews. I was not selected and was sent an email stating such. I requested feedback on not being selected when I replied thanking them for their time and for letting me know. I followed up 2 additional times. I'm sure I won't receive a response if they haven't bothered up until now, but it is telling of the culture.

1. Recruiter reached out on LinkedIn with "You have a great enterprise observability background! I also saw that you have some experience with Datadog. I'd like to discuss an Enterprise Observability SME opportunity with you!" 2. Brief chat with a recruiter. 3. "One-way interview" via Sparkhire. 4. Rejection. The entire process took about six days.

Interview

Had a phone interview with recruiter, he asked for more detail about my background. On that call he setup a time for me to speak with some the hiring team the next week. At that interview, the typical interview questions were asked with no surprise or strange questions. I was then invited for a walk thru interview, after which I was offered a position.
