Applied through LinkedIn, phone interview with Marketing Manager then was invited to an office interview with the Marketing Director and Manager. Was asked basic questions then asked to prepare a short presentation to display my skills basically doing a social media analysis of EarthWater's current social media, and after my presentation was sent in, theyd reach a decision. I completed this by the deadline then it was radio silence for weeks. I reached out to the Director and she said she hadn't even taken a look at my presentation then asked what my salary range was. The job posting said $40K-46K so i said that was my range. She said they only budgeted for $35K. She called me back and said the president of the company, Cash, wanted to meet me. I went in and he watched TV during my interview and paid no attention to me. He said he'd be in contact because he was interested in hiring me. I recieved an email if i could come in ONE MORE TIME to meet with everybody. a few hours before the interview, i received an email that they decided to go a different route with the position and the position was cancelled. I got a call that night from the Marketing Director apologizing and making an offer for $30K. Of course I turned it down. A few weeks later, content from my original presentation was used in their social media.
This company is crooked. DO NOT WORK HERE.
I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Earthwater (Addison, TX) in Feb 2018
Interview
I applied online for Marketing Coordinator and had 3 interviews with EarthWater over the course of a week. During this week, the job title changed 3 times, without them explaining this to me. After my 2nd interview, I received an email saying they were writing up an offer for me and they welcomed me to the team. The following day they scheduled a 3rd interview, completely disregarding what had previously been said about already being welcomed to the team. During my 3rd and final interview with the company's president, he was unaware of what position I was interviewing for. I discussed the responsibilities that were posted in the job description that was found online, and I was told that they already have people taking care of all of those responsibilities. The interviewer was hostile and essentially wanted me to come up with a new job description on the spot. Whatever position you apply and interview for will become irrelevant because they will bait and switch you at the end to sell the product on your social media. Don’t waste your time with this fake job they have you interview for.
