I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at EdOps (Washington, DC) in Feb 2023
Interview
Received an email from an HR recruiter to do a video chat interview for about 45 mins. I passed and I was given an assessment to do a mock email and excel assignment. I moved onto the last part which was a two-part final video chat interview. It was split into a Behavioral interview and a Technical interview with the hiring managers of Finance dept. The whole interview took almost 2 hours. It was an exhausting interview. They emailed me less than a week later that they did not want to move forward with me. I asked for feedback and was ghosted.

Question 1
-Walk me through your resume? -If you had multiple competing tasks, how would you decide which to prioritize? -How would communicate you made a mistake to a staff member? -Technical interview: mostly Accounting questions like bank reconciliation, AP, AR, etc.
Pretty straightforward three-round interview: there was a phone screening where the interviewer asked about my background and some basic technical questions, then a performance task in excel, and finally a two-hour behavioral and technical interview portion. Nothing crazy, they're just trying to understand whether you'd be a good fit for the role. I think this is the first year they're hiring financial analysts in cohorts.
