The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Eli Lilly and Company in Nov 2011
Interview
-Applied online, took the personality test
- had phone interview a week later. Use and practice STAR format! Got an email 3 hours later asking to fax background info in.
-A week later I had my F2F with DM and another sales rep. Great experience, both friendly. Know the company and the products!!!! Best advice is have good questions. Was told I would hear in 72 hours
- Got the call to have a phone interview with RM. Nice relaxed experience. A few STAR questions. Make sure to close.
- Went out to eat with DM the next day and received the offer.
****Advice- Study and know the company. Especially the products for the position you are interviewing for and HOW they work. Have good questions. I used and would recommend flashcards. If you are a good fit I'm sure you'll have a great interview experience. Great company to work for! ****

Question 1
Explain to me what a day is like in the life of a Pharma rep.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Eli Lilly and Company (Raleigh, NC) in Feb 2025
Interview
This was one of the hardest interview processes I have ever gone through. There are many rounds to the interview, and they use the “STAR” process (you can look this up). If you are interviewing for this company, it’s imperative to study this process so you know how to answer questions correctly. I made it through to the final round of interviews (it was between myself and one other person). In the end, they went with someone more familiar with the territory.
