Do not expect any formal recruiter introduction or even a proper introduction from the interviewers. The interviewee simply joined the call, said "Hi," and immediately began the interrogation process. In a 45-minute interview, the interviewer tested Python coding, shell scripting, system design (including designing a three-tier web application in AWS), and networking concepts. As if that wasn't enough, another person joined the call without any introduction and started asking questions about Kubernetes. There was no thinking time provided after each question, and the interviewers did not offer clear instructions or assistance. They judged my responses immediately, assuming that candidates should have everything memorized like college students. The experience was incredibly unprofessional. While I understand I may not have met the job criteria, the interviewers could have at least created a positive interview experience. I was shocked that such a viva-like interview still exists when the industry has moved on to job-related and scenario-based questions. It's no wonder the company has so many negative reviews on Glassdoor. Thank you to the interviewers for this eye-opening experience; otherwise, I might have ended up like you after a year.
