I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Engine AI
Interview
During the interview process, they changed the job title twice, the co-founder was often late to calls, and they rescheduled interviews just five minutes before they were supposed to start. I even did two full case studies and never heard back. That was a couple of months ago, and to this day, they haven’t even let me know I didn’t get the job. I had about five calls with different people, and the whole thing felt really unstructured and chaotic.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me to analyze their internal operations and suggest improvements—which honestly made sense, because from what I saw, things were kind of a mess. There was a clear lack of structure, communication seemed scattered, and basic processes just weren’t in place. It felt like they were aware of the chaos but didn’t have a clear plan to fix it.

Interview
One the worst interview processes I had so far.
Was asked to do a take-home assignment to perform a dashboard using Streamlit and Snowflake. Once the assignment was submitted, it took them almost 2 weeks to review it and when finally got the feedback email, it was straight-forward rejection without any feedback on what went good and bad. Replied to email asking for a more constructive feedback so I could actually understand what went wrong. I'm waiting for the response until this day.

Interview
Asked me to solve a home test then ghosted me after asking me to be patient because they didn't have enough people to review my code. Disrespectful company and no structure or respect for people. I waisted my time working on the home test
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked me about my background then game me a home test to do a streamlit app to visualize financial data.
