Recruiter reached out , then phone call, then call with hiring manager, then hiring manager in person, then reference checks. Took a few weeks tops. It was as simple and typical and easy.
I applied through other source. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Enviroscent (Sandy Springs, Fulton, GA) in Mar 2017
Interview
Office and location are beautiful. Half the team seemed really nice. Main contact seemed as if she had regrets about being there - had just a slight attitude problem but was cordial and kind. Other team members expressed concerns for the way things were in the past but they were sticking around in hopes of a bright future because they loved their team members and colleagues.
I received the wrong information regarding who I was to see/be interviewed by and actually finding the place was tricky. It's clearly marked outside but good luck finding the front door.
Very unclear what the job was to entail and looked like most people were straight out of college tasked with mid-level positions. If you go there work with the ad and creative team. Not sure I'd want to work with anyone else there. Was willing to give it a try because my home is right across the street.
Overall everything seemed a bit strange...like they weren't sure of anything in general. These days candidates want stability not odd vibes. I'm glad the team was honest about their past. That was super insightful and helpful.
They did not offer me the job but did at least contact me and tell me why. Something about how the other candidate had outstanding work samples. Perhaps if it had been clear what they were looking for it would have been easier to provide the key elements they needed. I'm not sure they themselves knew. They simply seemed ...lost.

Question 1
Pretty standard questions: Give me an example of a promotional calendar you put together? What things did you consider and why? Why are you looking for a job? Why do you want to work here? Have you ever had to coach or train someone?
