I applied online. I interviewed at Euro Auctions (Dromore, Omagh, Northern Ireland)
Interview
Awful. I interviewed with two people, one of which was a manager. This person was so full of their own importance it was embarrassing! They made statements which did not reflect the position of the company and showed a complete lack of understanding of the requirements of the role advertised. If you are interviewing for a position, its best that the person taking the interview has at least a basic understanding of the requirements of the role. I actually felt embarrassed for the company that this was the person representing it. I imagine that this person had a family member who got them the role. Otherwise, if this is the type of person you are hoping to hire, I'm glad not to hear back from you!
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Euro Auctions (Omagh, Northern Ireland) in Feb 2016
Interview
There were two stages, the first was an initial test on your ability to work Excel, a few maths questions linked to currency conversion and a role play exercise to test your customer service. Next was the interview with HR and manager, all straight forward.
