When I got there I filled out some paper work then took a small quiz, I knew that I didn't get everything on the test 100% right but it was mostly Windows questions and not really related to Linux at all (They had questions about outlook files during a linux Administrator interview?!). I reviewed what the qualifications were and thought I would be a great fit.
During the interview he asked me about previous work I've done, how I handle irate customer's then he talked to me about company culture, schedule and how things work.
after that we talked interview process and how I would meet with the CEO in my next interview. He definitely made it sound like I passed this interview would be going onto the next step.
He asked me if I had any questions and I asked if I did well on the test and he said "Yeah you did fine, this is just to test to see where you are" and I admitted that I probably didn't do too well cause it was mostly Windows questions and I am clearly a Linux guy. I asked him if he had any technical questions for me and he said no??
I left the interview feeling very unsure, I was wondering why he didn't ask me any questions related to the job like "Where do I find apache logs in centos or/and ubuntu?" or "What is the default ports for http, ftp, ssh?" but nope didn't get a chance. They just threw a 10 question test at me right when I walked in and used that to see how technically inclined I was.
