      Product Manager Interview

      20 May 2021
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at FITANGO in Apr 2021

      Interview

I would avoid this company. They seem desperate to add another body to their team. This was the easiest and most straightforward interview process possible - I should have recognized this as a red flag. I applied online via LinkedIn EasyApply. Within 24 hours, the CEO reached out to schedule 3 interviews with me. Within 48 hours, I had all 3 interviews. They were all conversational - there were no behavioral or situational questions, no case studies, no exams... The company made me a job offer; I quit my job to accept the job; the company then withdrew the offer, leaving me unemployed. More details: I applied via LinkedIn and within 24 hours, the CEO contacted me & scheduled 3 interviews for the next two days. Within a week, the CEO asked my available start date to make me an offer. Two weeks later, the CEO provided a formal job offer that had a different (earlier) start date. I asked the CEO if that incorrect start date was intentional, and I also asked if it was possible to delay my start date because of the delayed job offer (obviously, this impacted my ability to quit my former employer). Once I submitted my questions to the CEO, he told me they were going to withdraw the offer and find a different candidate (after I already quit my job to start on May 17).

      Interview

I would avoid this company. There seems to be some internal issues that need to be worked out. The company provided me a job offer - I quit my job to accept the offer - between quitting my previous job and the agreed upon start date, the CEO withdrew my offer. We agreed on a start date, and the actual job offer had an earlier/different start date - when I corrected the CEO and asked a couple of clarifying questions related to the details of compensation, the CEO told me they were going to go with another candidate. Regardless, it was essentially the easiest and most straightforward interview process possible; they seem to be desperate for an additional body who won't ask questions. I applied via LinkedIn EasyApply, within 24 hours I had 3 interviews scheduled. Interviews were conversational - no situational/behavioral questions, no case studies, no exams... Within a week, the CEO told me they were going to give me a job offer, and two weeks later, the CEO actually provided the offer.
