I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments
Interview
Experienced Hire - My interview focused on customer conversation skills, an understanding of managed accounts (series 65 or 66 required), and the ability to manage a book of customers effectively. This is not a "destination" position, so part of the interview is geared toward the next position of Portfolio Specialist. Interview was somewhat behavioral, but some of the questions logistical, addressing my lack of experience in their specific environment.

Question 1
Having not worked in a large corporate environment, how will you adapt to the change in surroundings and culture?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Denver, CO) in Jan 2019
Interview
The interview process was intense, but seemed overall formulaic and cold. It gave the feeling of a company that does not care about the people who work there.
Their process included a phone interview, cognitive ability tests, and then an in person interview.
The cognitive tests were not hard, but the interview was daunting. Especially since my interviewer was being reviewed so an additional person was observing.

Question 1
Can you give an example of when you received world class customer service?
The managers ask questions about the job when most of them have never actually done it. They have a list of questions but really do not understand the day to day of the job.
