I applied through university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Boston, MA) in Mar 2015
Interview
Two-round interview process. One on-campus, one at Fidelity site. On-campus interview is dependent on the college or university. Some interns did not receive an on-campus interview. Instead, had two rounds at the Fidelity site. The first round is more resume-based. The second round is dependent on who you interview with. It may be resume, skill, or interest based. Overall very growing experience. Allows the interviewee to sharpen their presentation of themselves.
I applied online. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments in Dec 2020
Interview
I only got to the Hirevue and they declined my application at this point. I'd imagine they would do a Zoom interview afterwards for people who passed. Overall, the portion I experienced was pretty straightforward.

Multiple Interviews. Try to get as many as possible in person at their locations. Most of the interviewers were very nice, one was standoffish but manageable. Definitely practice behavioral interview questions.
