This program is advertised as a program only for those graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree and those with more of a liberal arts background than business background. However, quite a few in the program actually received a BS degree and/or received a degree in Economics which is very business oriented. After speaking to the program managers and associates in the program, I decided to apply to the program internally as a Fidelity intern already that summer. However, right after the phone screening, I was told I would not be moving forward due to my "business background" even though I am receiving a BA in Communication, and everyone I had talked to said I was eligible.
Fidelity seems to have a tendency to favor certain schools (like Tufts) and candidates that have family members working at the company.
