I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Figo Pet Insurance (Chicago, IL) in May 2022
Interview
I had applied for different positions within the company and not received interviews. Then one day their recruiter emailed me about a position she thought I'd be a good fit for. We scheduled a phone interview and the next week I had a virtual interview with the hiring manager. Three days later the recruiter called me with the job offer.
Panel interview- 45 minutes- asked me about myself. Explain the role and asked me about my experience. I was offered a position an hour after my interview. I declined because of the pay. It is a remote position.

Interview
I applied in response to a new job listing. Knowing that these jobs post and get filled quickly, I submitted my resume and cover letter indicating interest in 2 positions being listed. I got an email on a Monday asking for my availability for a 30 minute phone interview which we scheduled for the following morning. We discussed my background and why I was applying for this role. I was told they were filling 8 positions. We talked about the company and a basic overview of the department and role, schedule and benefits. At the end, I was asked to schedule a second 1 hour video interview with two colleagues for the following morning. We talked more in depth about my background, my reasons for looking to change jobs and a bit more about the department and process. I answered some basic interview questions and was told they would follow up with me soon. I got a generic email on Monday that they would not be going forward with my application. No other feedback provided but I know this is a very competitive time given the amount of burnout in the vet field and folks leaving in search of jobs like these. Everyone I spoke with was very friendly and informative.
