The hiring process took approximately one month from the time I submitted my resume to the final interview. It started with an initial phone screening, followed by a video interview a week later. Unfortunately, both the interactions felt somewhat unwelcoming. During the video interview, the interview appeared tense, body language rigid, with no smiles or warmth. The monotone voice and lack of engagement fell short of the standards expected. One particular issue stood out: during the initial screening I communicated an area of knowledge I wasn’t particularly versed in, though I have a solid overall understanding. Despite this, I felt like I was being drilled on that exact disadvantage, which seemed unnecessary given the broader context of my skills and experience.
