It was quite simple as it was on line and the lady was very friendly. You could see she was eager to finish and focus on other things. That was immediately a red flag for me. However, you could tell she knew what she wanted from the onset.

Question 1
I see you have a very good experience with students, how would you explain your most frustrating moment with your them and did it ultimately work well for both of you?
It was weird because I didn't really have an interview? All communication was conducted over email, I had a paid trial project, and then did 1 zoom call to be conveyed that I was hired.

Question 1
No interview, just a trial project after the initial application
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at FluentU (Seoul) in May 2020
Interview
It's 100% remote. Once you're shortlisted, they send you an email with some key values of the company, so you can evaluate if you'd really like to work with them, which is awesome. If you're keen on continuing the selection process, they send you all the guidelines to create a sample lesson so they can evaluate your skills. The CEO himself is the one who was hiring for this position. The whole process was very respectful and all information provided was crystal clear. I very much enjoyed the way they communicate.
Moreover, this was a paid trial. I was reproved, but as soon as they sent me the reproval email, they paid me via PayPal.

Question 1
There are no spoken interviews, everything is done remotely and asynchronously. The written questions you have to answer are about the methodology you use to create English-teaching materials, what you believe the students' biggest difficulties are, and so on.
