They used a 3rd party recruiter from the French American Chamber of Commerce in Texas. It was a friendly interview with one catch. My resume was for the recent 16 years, vs. my whole career. The recruiters seemed to be shocked when she saw me, with the inference that she expected someone younger. It was an awkward moment. The file was titiled CV 2009 - Present. When I was informed that I was not selected, the recruiter did not respond to my request for more information. I indicated in my follow up that I was interested even though the pay scale was a bit lower than other options.
