I first applied for a Scriptwriter position at Fntastic in Fall 2022. I completed the test task (they gave me about 4 days to finish it), but it turned out that they were not satisfied with it. The second time I applied for a job was in the spring of 2023, but I was rejected without explanation. The third time I applied for the position of junior level designer, I was offered a test assignment for the Scriptwriter position. I agreed, but it turned out that this time the task was larger, and I had less than 24 hours to complete it. When I honestly thought that this was a mistake and asked about it, they said that this is exactly the amount of time they always give candidates. It was strange because I don't work for them yet and maybe I have other things to do, but I decided to finish the task with no sleep that night. A few days later I was invited for an interview. The recruiter acted like he didn't know why he was there. He didn't introduce himself or the company properly, so I had to ask myself. And instead of asking me about my experience, he had a list of controversial issues (see below). And he emphasized that their team was constantly having crunches, because they planned to release the game in the fall of 2023. There is still no news about their game, so I recommend you google the development history (it was quite popular on Reddit), before you waste your time on this company.
