      Forward Deployed Engineer Interview

      18 Dec 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Forge.AI (San Francisco, CA)

      Interview

The interview process started smoothly with a non-technical first round. However, the technical second round with the "Engineering Lead" was disappointing—he spent time highlighting his own achievements before assigning a coding task, only to lose interest after about 8 minutes and end the call abruptly without allowing any response. This lack of patience and professionalism raises concerns about the company's culture and respect for candidates. I'd recommend exploring other opportunities where collaboration is valued. Seems like a cheap copy of Palantir.
