I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fundraising Well (New York, NY) in Feb 2020
Interview
From the first outreach, there was such a welcoming and team-oriented tone to all the communications they sent - both written and verbal. The first meeting was a 30 min call to talk through my specific experience and accomplishments, and they provided a bit more detail on the role. The second meeting was an even exchange of questions and answers between myself and the hiring manager. I got a really good sense of who he is, and felt I was really able to shine - I felt seen, heard, and valued which made it really easy to shine. The third call was with a client of the firm and the hiring manager. I had the opportunity to speak with the client (two team members) and ask about their experience working with the firm. They talked through feedback they had provided the firm and how the firm addressed it and helped them exceed their goals. Then they hopped off, and the hiring manager gave me another opportunity to dig in and ask questions. We spoke for about an hour more...much of it veering into a more familiar, friendly conversation. At the end of it, he said "you've made such an impression, the client already emailed, and..." he made me an offer on the spot!
