Scheduled for interview, went to a nice building with a shared office suite housing many, many companies. Was taken back for a one-on-one interview with a hiring manager. It was a secondary manager. Introductions were made, they asked me what I was looking for. They were very friendly and nice. They explained the company as a "management training program." Basically you start by selling DirectTV at Costco and once you make enough money, they'll make you a "manager," and you'll start training your own team. They call it a "merit-based system." I was asked no questions about my skills, and most of the meeting was what I would call chit-chat. I was asked if I could do a second interview the same day. I declined. By that point, I was sure the company was a shell for a pyramid scheme. I ended up cancelling the second interview.
