Applied in early January 2025 and received an email for a phone screening about two weeks later. The entire process consisted of 4 interviews over a period of two weeks.
After the phone screening with talent acquisition, I had a virtual interview with the same person, then an interview with the hiring manager that went well. After that I had an interview with the director of the department and a final interview with an executive.
Personally, I felt like 4 interviews was overkill and we could've stopped after the third. I understand its a smaller company and they want to ensure a good cultural fit, but they were all asking me the same questions about my experience so I was constantly repeating the same answers and giving the same scenarios. It made me question whether or not they were communicating with one another. Since the final interview was 30 min with an exec, I thought it would lean more towards personality/culture fit, but again, it was the same basic interview questions that I was asked two interviews prior. I thought that was strange considering I tailored my questions based on who I was interviewing with and at what level they were at with the company.
After my final interview, I got the call a couple of days later that they weren't moving forward with me. No feedback was given.
