I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at GLG in Apr 2015
Interview
A third-party recruiter who saw my profile on LinkedIn reached out to me and asked basic questions about my work experience relative to the role and gave me a background about GLG. The week after, I met with two of GLG's Practice Area Leaders separately for an onsite interview. I was essentially asked to elaborate what was on my resume, my knowledge of GLG, a sample case/scenario that involved a client and possible solutions I could suggest. The whole interview took 2 hours. A few days after, I was emailed a case study to work on - an investment bank with a training&development need. It was very tedious. This was designed to evaluate a candidate's capabilities in strategic thinking, resourcefulness and critical writing. Speed and accuracy are essential. Three days after, the recruiter advised me they're passing on my candidacy.

GLG sends you to lunch with a few would-be peers, then puts you through a half-day of interviews with various managers/team leads throughout the firm. The questions focus on case studies for above and beyond client service and how you work under pressure.

Walk me through my resume, asked about recent current events, why I wanted to work there, how I would respond to client situation, was quite an easy interview. Would do it again.
