I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at GLG (London, England) in Sept 2024
Interview
I’m writing to share my thoughts on a recent interview I had for the Senior Associate, Client Solutions (Private Equity) role with GLG.
I was very excited about this opportunity, given my experience, including my previous role as a Project Manager in the same industry . However, I found the interview process somewhat disappointing. Before we started, I was informed we only had a limited time for the conversation, which felt insufficient to discuss my qualifications and the alignment with the role. While the interview lasting for 5 minutes, it felt rushed, and there was no engagement from Ms. __, with no questions asked.
On August 28th, I received a rejection notice, which left me both surprised and disappointed, given how closely my background matches the role’s requirements. I followed up with Ms. __ on LinkedIn, seeking feedback to understand how I could improve or where my application may have fallen short, but I have not received a response. Rushed interviews with no engagement do not allow for a fair assessment of a candidate's skills or a meaningful conversation.
HR screening, case studies with team lead, culture fit interview, then C-suite interview. People were nice case studies kinda threw me off but Expert Networking Companies are known for that. I could tell the workload would be insane. Respect for the employees.
4 step interview process along with case study and some technical tests. Huge emphasis on GLG knowledge. Fairly staight forward process. Quick as well. So all is good with the interview peocess
