Future Leaders Program - Supply Chain Interview

      18 Jan 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Research Triangle Park, NC
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at GSK (Research Triangle Park, NC) in Nov 2018

      Interview

Interview was an interesting process. First had to complete two online simulations/tests (mostly questions about how you would react in certain situations) before being invited to in-person interview. There were two other candidates at the Interview Day (Assessment Day), and part of the exercises were done as a group, most of the exercises as an individual. We were not allowed to mention the name of our school to avoid bias. One part of the interview was a 45 minute technical interview, yet there were only three questions asked. The interviewers were very stiff and formal, because they had to follow an exact script. I was very limited in what types of questions I could ask, and it was unclear what parts of my past experience I was allowed to bring up. Did not enjoy the interview process. Despite having interned with GSK, I did not leave with a positive view of the company, and I declined their offer.
