Pros: Interview through zoom so there is no need to travel down to the office. Cons: Unable to see the physical company. Application is needlessly long - Record video of yourself according to the company's request, and add chinese subtitles. You also had to fill up a long application form with all your information. The interview happened with a HR person. The person did a full background check on all my past company 'reasons for leaving' instead of my experiences, A red flag. After a long series of question, the last question asked was 'Are you against using AI'. This question determines whether they will hire you or not. Grey area answer is immediate rejection. When you think that this will be the only interview, the HR person will surprise you with a 'there will be a 2nd interview'. I will suggest not wasting your time, or prepare to waste your time if you really want to work there. Apparently you will have to work on some Saturdays as well, which was not stated in the job application.
