I applied through other source. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Gap in Jan 2012
Interview
The lady who interviewd me was not very friendly. They asked me several questions which, I work internally for the company, and I didn't even know some of the answers! THey encourage all majors to apply, so it worries me a bit that unless you know a LOT about all of the brands, you will feel unprepared, which is how I felt. They also asked you some math questions, which I felt very akward doing because I know she was just waiting on the other end for me to answer them. I felt rushed and flustered so I did the problem incorreclt, and she rudely told me my answer was incorrect. Then I had to do it over again and she condescendly told me the correct way to do the problem. They emailed me a few days after letting me know they decided to persue other candidates. I wasn't shocked, but my experience just wasn't that great.
If you have 5,000 puffy vests and 120 stores in which to distribute these vests, what information and indicators do you consider when distributing these vests?
Made it through 2 rounds of interviews. First is more personal and 2nd is a project on creating a brand for GAP. Was told I had made it to final rounds, only to receive an email more than a month later that my application would actually not be moving forward. Rather unorganized and lengthy process.

Question 1
The first round was a basic behavioral interview. At the end there were a few situational questions.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Gap (New York, NY)
Interview
Resume drop on university career site, then assessment (math+culture), then phone interview with recruiter. The recruiter seemed very rushed and uninterested in what I had to say which threw me off and led to me delivering not as polished answers as I would have liked to. It left a bad impression on Gap.
