I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gap (New York, NY) in Jan 2019
Interview
It was fine. Nothing too scary or crazy. What you would expect from a normal interview. They asked me about my availability and whether I was looking to work part time or full time, and if I could transport myself. Also, if I've ever worked in retail before
Group interview with other candidates with the store manager. Arrive at the store and wait for other candidates. Then interview happens in break room and it lasted roughly about 30-60minutes
It was a group interview of about 10-12 people. If I remember correctly they take you to the back, the stock room, and ask almost everyone the same question. The interview lasted about 30 minutes.
It was very easy, one in person interview with the general manager and then I was accepted! Mainly personality and behavioral questions were asked, and I think enthusiasm on my end helped the most.
