Question 1
They asked me about my career history, how I would approach a number of specific scenarios related to the job, why I wanted to work there, how my background was a fit, etc.
It was a 30 min initial interview with an internal recruiter. They focused on behavioral questions related to roles/results in past 5 years. They asked about salary expectations, relocation potential and non-compete status.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Gap (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2010
Interview
Everyone I dealt with were very professional. Human Resources calls when they say they'd would call. They also get back to you right away if you leave them a message. The process started with a phone screen with HR. The screen was very comprehensive. Then came the second round in office visit/360 interview: meetings with superiors, peers, and also direct reports. Everyone was happy, friendly, and smart. There was a sense of energy in the building. People were busy but gave you their full attention.
